Nathan - Rockin' and Rollin'!

So, the time has come to reinstall the baby gates and prepare ourselves to try to contain the uncontainable! Nathan rolled over for the first time about a month and a half ago, but was only going from his back to his tummy, then getting VERY upset that he couldn't flip himself back over. During the last couple of weeks, though, he has mastered the art of rolling from tummy to back, then over again and again. Rolling in succession - it's a beautiful thing! Although, this means lots of traveling all over the floor, finding big brother's toys and putting them in his mouth, and getting stuck in uncomfortable places. While answering an email this morning, Nathan managed to roll off the carefully placed blanket full of toys and other distractions, and wedge himself underneath the futon in the loft while reaching for a matchbox car left under the futon by Ian. Isn't having children fun!?!? Needless to say, even with the amount of work that I know keeping Nathan away from Ian's toys and dangerous situations, having a mobile baby is tremendously entertaining. I hope everyone smiles while sharing in Nathan's mobile milestones with us with this quick little video. Oh, that white blur at the end - that's Que, the cat, putting his nose into the camera. Enjoy!
